Michele Duggan
I have completed my 200 hour teacher training, chair yoga and yin certification during the Spring of 2024, at Yoga by Janice. I have always been extremely active and after being diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2017, I started changing my fast pace workouts for meditations and stretching. During this time I was encouraged to take a yoga class, After taking my 1st class I was hooked and yoga became an important part of my recovery and spiritual journey. As a preschool teacher for the last 21 years, I was already custom to working in a fast paced classroom creating, teaching, encouraging and being a positive role model. I wanted to create a similar journey to my yoga practice. Since completing my 200 teacher training hours, I am now making those same connections in the yoga studio. Some of my favorite classes to teach are Chair Yoga and Slow Flow. When I am not on the mat teaching yoga, you can find me spending time with my family and friends, boating, traveling, baking and of course, moving my body to be healthy! |
